Capital Z is known as the master mind of lyrical skill, wordplay and content. Maria, the first lady of Nuzik, is recognized as the sexy and soulful vocalist with charisma. Last, but definitely not least, Gino Slik, the rapper with the utmost versatility brings the west, the south and the east coast styles to life.
His stage name- Apeh Jan, his musical game- simply stupendous. With hits “In a 645” and “LA to Taj Mahal” Apeh Jan has made his mark on the music scene. In a magical league of his own, he has the ability to make the streets come to life while keeping his listeners moving on the dance floor.
His new awaited Album, Son of Sam, administered by the multi-talented A.Chilla, is dropping in the midst of summer 2007. Chilla. Apeh and his unique vocal style combined with A.Chilla’s beats, blend together an array of styles including R&B and hip-hop with a twist of Middle Eastern popular music. Maria has been performing since the age of 5 as a singer, actress, and a dancer. As the only female member of Nuzik Productions, Maria has always captivated her audience with her unique sound and charisma. Maria studied dance with a ballet emphasis for 10 years.
At a young age, she performed for local television networks, musicals, fundraisers, charity events, cultural events, football and basketball games, to name a few. It was six years ago when she began writing her own songs. Her style is said to be unique, soulful, vocally and lyrically powerful, and sultry.
Maria aspires to become an all-around good entertainer. Her ultimate goal: to sign with a label that can cradle her exceptional talent, style, and ambition. A Triple Threat!
Gino Slik was born and raised in Los Angeles. At 14, he moved to Dallas, Texas only to drop out of school and work for his father.
Gino started recording music at age 16. He would write a song a day for the next 2 years. At age 17, he joined a clique of other artists called SKREET MUZIK and began putting together an album.
At the age of 19, he released his debut album Family Redefined collaborating with other artists on the side. At the age of 20, Gino’s father, who was his best friend, died in Spain.
Gino Slik was reborn with his father’s background and a slick sound. He is currently back in California pursuing his dream.
With two albums never released in the year 2005, he dropped Mafia Mixtape Vol. 1. Gino Slik’s versatile styles of rapping have made him a force in the rap scene.
Capital Z emerged as one of the best emcees in Los Angeles in the late 90’s. Along with producer and good friend A. Chilla, Cap Z has been able to make hits such as “F.U.C.K” and “Twist Yo Wrist.”
With Z’s lyrical skill, wordplay, and content, along with Chilla’s gifted production, they are out to put Armenians on the map in the rap game.
It started when in August of 2003, a terrible car accident took the lives of two of Z’s good friends, including his best friend of 14 years. Two years later Z released “Forever Young.” The song has touched thousands of people. It is almost a letter written to his best friend. “I never planned for the song to be popular, I just heard the track and wanted to do a dedication to him, but it blew up,” said Capital Z.
Z has managed to make music to represent all the people in one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world, Los Angeles.
Aside from being a mind-blowing rapper, Z is also an over-achieving student at UCLA. He maintains 3.8 GPA since beginning college at the age of 24.
Only months away from getting his bachelor’s degree, Z is also studying for the law school admission’s exam.
He has accomplished all this after dropping out of high school and being involved with the wrong lifestyle in his teenage years.
